After developing a website for his detailing service business, Eric approached me to help kick start his next venture, an e-commerce business based in California that will sell his custom line of detailing products. This meant creating something right from the ground up. It was a great project to work on as it meant I could push Webflow’s new e-commerce capabilities to create a layout that stands out from the competitors.

Goals

Create a sub-brand from the current Envious Detailing brand to leverage it’s already established quality. Use strategy to unveil essential features that appeal to the right kind of customers and establish the value behind the brand. Build the website utilising a platform that enables easy access for the client to make changes to the content as well as manage the back end of the shop.

Developing an envious sub brand

Starting off with a process of strategy where we establish user profiles, business goals and the main selling points of the product, I developed an understanding of the direction the brand needed to take to help make that happen. As this project is a sister company to Eric’s original detailing business “Envious Detailing” I took an element of that logo and created a mark that resembles an S.

Using Webflow e-commerce

After developing this brand identity, we wanted to make the shopping experience have as much of it applied with it as possible. Using Webflow meant that we could design a shopping experience from the ground up that had the brand applied to it in every aspect. The client can easily edit the products, change images or copy and add new blog posts right on the website itself.
