McCoy's Coffee

introduction

McCoy’s Coffee is an independent coffee house and roastery located in the heart of my local city, Hull. It’s a popular destination for it’s breakfasts and interesting interior, but as any proud owner is, Mark, the client, is always looking for ways to better reach out to new customers and communicate their offerings. Four years ago they originally reached out to me to bring their website back to life to help them do this, with new updates and versions of the website being added along the way.

Goals

As they're already a busy coffee shop, the goal is to help make their experience even easier. So that meant getting a website up and running for the coffee shop so that customers can easily view the menu and as well as make table reservations easily.

Eyeing up the place

A clean one page website that works towards subtly giving the customer a feeling of what it’s like inside the cafe, starting off by a large slider background of some of the best photos from the shoot we did, moving onto some copy I’ve written about the coffee house’s key features and it’s quirks, accompanied by another gallery this time capable of closer inspection.

Everything on the menu.

The website was built in Webflow, enabling the client to have incredibly easy access to editing the website and uploading a new menu when needed. All he would need to do to change the menu is click and drag the PDF onto the screen in his backend of the website and publish the new update to make it live.
